Lane 1 Month Old

Lane's first month really flew by! At her 2 wk checkup she was 8 lb 1oz. She isn't quite as laid back as I thought she would be. She loves to cuddle and would sleep all the time on me. Unfortunately, there are 2 other munchkins who need my attention too, so we are working on getting her to sleep elsewhere. We moved her into her crib because she was using me as a pacifier and mama was getting no sleep! She takes good naps in her swing and we are working on getting her into her crib for those as well. She is just now starting to take a pacifier, whereas before it just made her mad. She HATES her car seat! She loves to stare at me and grins from ear to ear. She likes when I whistle and she is starting to coo and kick her feet in excitement. She has the worst baby acne and cradle cap (my poor cute little baby has acne?!), but thankfully still has all of that hair! She is a good little eater- she will eat until she pukes, so I finally learned my lesson and she only eats from one side at a time. I relish every minute with her and I see now why the 3rd is so spoiled!

My work had a baby shower for Lane. It was so much fun and you would not believe all of the stuff she got (and her sisters too!). I am so fortunate to work with such wonderful people!

All of the pics except the one with all the girls are from Lane's newborn photo shoot done by Leah Jent. She was just 10 days old and Leah got some of the cutest shots. She is an amazingly talented photographer and had an adorable baby to work with!
