Goodbye Old Man Winter

I am so so so glad that Spring is finally here (and that it is a non-pregnant Spring:)! I must confess that I hate winter. I tried so hard to like it this year since Elise was so excited about it, but it didn't work. She and Daddy got to have lots of fun in the cold snow. We are now enjoying lots of time in the nice warm weather.

Love Bug Pottery Party

One of my neighbors went to college with the owner of this company. She used to have a paint-your-own-pottery studio, but now she just does this. She brings lots of pottery and you pick out your piece. You do handprints/footprints or just tell her what you want on your pottery. She then takes it back to her studio and cleans up the prints and customizes your piece with the requested colors/designs. She is so creative and talented and her prices are soooo reasonable. Most of the kids love getting their hands dirty and they get to have a little playdate. Here are a few samples of pieces she did for some of the girls in my bunko group.

Nine Months Old

Mal was 9 months old last Monday! She is 17lb 5 0z (25th %) and 28 inches (75%). She is at such a fun stage now- she dances, waves, gives kisses, and gets into everything. There is still not a single tooth in that mouth, but she can eat anything- even hamburgers! She loves to eat and gets so upset if she realizes that we are eating something different. She has taken a couple steps, but is not really walking yet.
