Adam & Rachel's Wedding

The very rare family photo

The cousins

Mr. & Mrs. Howard

The Wedding
So this is why we went to Gatlinburg- my little brother Adam got married to Rachel. They had a cute little outdoor wedding in the mountains. We are delighted to welcome Rachel into our family. Sorry about the pic quality, I stole them from her Myspace page.

Memaw's Cabin

Mallory cracks up when you get her belly

Thanks a lot for the blue sucker Memaw

We hung out in my mom's cabin for a little while. Elise was so confused because we told her we were going to Memaw's, but her dogs weren't there. Of course Elise loaded up on treats while we were there ( and then got sick in the car:)

Snuggles with Daddy

Traveling is not easy with little ones! Elise would not sleep in the extra bedroom in our condo, so I slept with Mallory in the master bedroom and Brian slept with Elise on the sleeper sofa. The girls also took their naps on Daddy which he loved!

Mini Me

For those who don't think Elise and Mallory look alike... When I did that last post the picture of me holding Mallory reminded me of a picture where I was holding Elise at around the same age. Ya think?!

Precious Parts Collage

Engineer + Photographer = VERY PICKY!!!

This is the amazing collage that Brian made. It took forever because he is so anal, but it was well worth the wait and I am so excited to have it matted/framed. He did a wonderful job and it actually looks better than the professional one we had done for Elise. We paid over $300 for Elise's, but this print was under $20 from a professional lab! I love a good deal- especially when it has my baby's cute little booty in it!

Amusement Park

There was not much for little kids to do in Gatlinburg, but on our last day we found this little amusement park. It was perfect for Elise. She had to ride everything by herself which made me nervous. She had such a good time and is already a little thrill-seeker. She kept putting her hands in the air and yelling more and faster! She will be riding the coasters at Kings Island in no time!

M & M

Mallory and Matthew got to have a little play date last week. They are just 2 days apart, so it is neat to see them together. We thought Mallory was a big girl until she was next to Matthew- he is definitely heftier. Of course the big kids wanted to get in the picture too.

Yellow Springs Street Fair

We took the girls to Yellow Springs a couple of weeks ago for a festival. It is a quirky little town, but I always enjoy going there and like the culture there. Elise was disappointed because there was no bouncy play area, which she associates with the word festival. Can you guess what her favorite thing was though?

Was it Piperdinkle the dog outside of Mr Fub's Toy Store? NO.

Was it the balloon animal made by the clown who wore a button that said "Eat a Prune, Start a Movement"? NO. (I found it funny though)

Was it dancing on the lawn by the beer garden? NOPE.

It was riding the school bus (the shuttle)!!! The girl loved it! She didn't want to get off because she had such a good time!

Little Buddies

Elise loves to play with the little neighbor girl Olivia. Elise likes Olivia because she is older and just thinks she is so cool . Olivia likes Elise because she is younger and listens to her. They play great together and anytime Elise sees Olivia outside she says, "Hey, there my friend Owibia!"

Goofy Little Girl

Elise and Mommy playing "babies"
Elise is quite a character lately. She was singing along with the radio in my car the other day and it made me realize that she is such a big girl. She is very opinionated about what we listen to in the car too. If a song comes on that she doesn't like she says, "How bout this one" which means find another one. Sometimes when I sing she says, "No sing mama" (and I can't blame her for that one...it isn't pretty). Everything is "cool" or "awesome" right now. The other day she put her fingers over my mouth and said. "No mama, you need to use your inside voice!". It seems like she is 2 going on 13!

Great Grandpa and Grandma just loved holding Mallory. Great Grandma kept squeezing her and kissing her- it was so cute.

Great Aunt Sandy and Uncle Don

Aunt Sandy and Uncle Don came for a visit from Buffalo and finally got to meet Mallory. Elise really enjoyed spending time with them as well, but it is virtually impossible to get a picture of that girl sometimes!
