Elise 7/10

Elise teetered between super grumpy and super silly for her pictures. In the first two, she is being told, "If you don't look at the camera and smile then you will be in time out". I love how they turned out, even despite the antics!

Mallory 7/10

Mallory loves the camera, but on this day she didn't! We would tell her to look at Daddy & say cheese and she would cross her arms, pout her lips and say "no"! I was so frustrated, but Brian persisted and finally got a few cute shots of her (disheveled hair and all). What a cutie!

Traveling 7/10

The girls did so well on our 6 hr trip... they both napped on the way home, watched movies, and entertained themselves. We deserved it since they didn't sleep a wink on the way there! And, yes- we took the Civic and were packed in like sardines (but it was all good).

Fourth of July in Buffalo 7/10

We had an awesome 4th of July! We went to Brian's great aunt's house which was right across the street from the beautiful Niagra river. They closed the streets off so the girls could ride their bikes and we danced to the bands. They even had their first slip & slide experience. We then stayed up very late to watch an amazing fireworks display.

Buffalo 7/10

We took a quick trip to Buffalo to visit Uncle Don and Aunt Sandy. We had a great time and the girls loved playing with Aunt Sandy, who is a big kid herself!

Happy 2nd Birthday Mallory!

It just doesn't seem possible that little Mallory Moo is 2 today!!!! It seems like just yesterday she came barreling into this world and now she is a toddler! She is the happiest, silliest, cutest, most independent little girl. She still loves that darn blanket- I just hope she gives it up before kindergarten. She has a major shoe obsession which I just can not relate to. I'm telling you that if this girl wants to wear some hideous pink and green shoes with her purple dress- you better just let her! She has been testing us with some terrible two style tantrums, but we were trained by the best (AKA Elise), so they don't even phase us. Her newest thing is potty-training herself...seriously- she just did it on her own. She wears diapers to nap/bed, but if we are home she goes in the potty almost all the time. She still is not much of a talker, but she is starting to say more. She sings "Happy Birthday" and her new favorite word is "mine". The girls loves to dance and can totally break it down, especially to Yo Gabba music. She is such a joy and I can't imagine life without her!

Elise PLAYING Soccer

As the season went on, Elise got a little more into the game. She is actually really good when she plays. When I told her we were going to her last game she said, "It's my very last game? Now I never, ever, ever have to play again?!" What a hoot!

Girls Night Out

Theresa and I took Reilley and Elise to see Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty at the Centerville Town Hall. The girls loved the play and were very wound up at dinner afterwards! I can just imagine some wild all night slumber parties in the future with these crazy girls!

Mommy's Girls- Mother's Day

Oh I just love these little girls! They were absolute angels on Mother's Day. We left the house at 8:30 for church, went to lunch in Cincy with my mom, then went to Brian's parents for dinner. They were so tolerant of all of the time in the car and were so lovey and silly with each other all day. So cute!

Pirate Party

Elise insisted that Brian should have a pirate birthday party. While we were at Michael's she actually found pirate cupcake wrappers all on her own! We celebrated Brian's birthday with a great dinner and pirate cupcakes. It was fun!

Bowling

We have been trying to do some new, cheap things with the girls. Bowling was perfect! It kept Elise's attention for a whole hour and got some of that energy out. Mallory was more interested in reading the lunch menu and eating Skittles. I was amazed at how high tech the bowling alley is now!
