Boonshoft

Brian took Elise to the Boonshoft museum one Saturday while Mallory and I had breakfast with Cynetta and Benjamin. He loved having some one-on-one time with her and she obviously enjoyed herself as well!

Trick or Treat

The girls were leopards for Halloween. Elise is a Diego fan, so she insisted that they were baby jaguars. She threw a fit about wearing the ears, but I told her that people would only give candy to her if she had the ears on- they stayed on the whole night! Elise was really in to trick-or-treating this year. We planned on just doing a couple of houses, but she had so much fun so Brian took her out for a couple hours. She loved all of the decorations that people had- the scarier the better. Mallory and I stayed at the house to pass out candy. We enjoyed seeing all of the kids dressed up. The little girl in the picture with Elise is our neighbor Eileen.

Fun Fest

On Halloween night, we took the girls to Fun Fest at church. Elise loved all of the jumpers and was absolutely star-struck when she met Dora and Diego. She just stared at them and finally got the courage to go up to Dora and said, "Hey there is my baby sister Mallory". Not "OMG Dora- I freakin love you and am obsessed with you and I throw a fit when my Mommy doesn't let me watch you". No, instead she just doted on her little sis. She then proceeded to check out Diego's backside...my heart was racing because I thought for sure she was going to goose him or do something silly. She said, "Hey where you rescue pack?" I was relieved and she was right- he was missing an important part of his costume. Nothing slips by Elise!

Vote For Me

Well- maybe he wouldn't be the best president, but he sure is cute! Election day was also Wyatt's 6th birthday! We celebrated with chicken for breakfast, a run with his sisters, and a new Nylabone. This is my favorite picture of Wyatt and it is the one that was chosen for "Mr. July" in a Weimaraner calander contest a few years ago. He is getting older, but will always be a puppy at heart!

Adam & Rachel's Wedding

The very rare family photo

The cousins

Mr. & Mrs. Howard

The Wedding
So this is why we went to Gatlinburg- my little brother Adam got married to Rachel. They had a cute little outdoor wedding in the mountains. We are delighted to welcome Rachel into our family. Sorry about the pic quality, I stole them from her Myspace page.

Memaw's Cabin

Mallory cracks up when you get her belly

Thanks a lot for the blue sucker Memaw

We hung out in my mom's cabin for a little while. Elise was so confused because we told her we were going to Memaw's, but her dogs weren't there. Of course Elise loaded up on treats while we were there ( and then got sick in the car:)

Snuggles with Daddy

Traveling is not easy with little ones! Elise would not sleep in the extra bedroom in our condo, so I slept with Mallory in the master bedroom and Brian slept with Elise on the sleeper sofa. The girls also took their naps on Daddy which he loved!

Mini Me

For those who don't think Elise and Mallory look alike... When I did that last post the picture of me holding Mallory reminded me of a picture where I was holding Elise at around the same age. Ya think?!
